alliecat1095 128 Posted December 22, 2012 Good luck each and everyone of you. It is a very exciting experience.. I had my surgery on 8/29/12. It is rough the first couple of days but remember sip, sip, sip and walk, walk, walk.... First couple of days you might not get to much fluids into your tummy. IT is swollen, irritated and very sore... Don't try and rush into the next stage of your post-op. take it one day at a time.. 2 TD41 and kim12398 reacted to this

christyg 5 Posted December 27, 2012 I was excited to see several people sharing the same surgery date as myself. Even though we are miles apart, I will have some comfort knowing that there are other people out there on Friday morning feeling the same anticipation and excitement as we start a new journey. Best wishes and positive thoughts to everyone as we move though the last few hours before surgery.

BigTXChris 13 Posted December 27, 2012 Prepare to be miserable for 24-48 hours after that its smoothe sailing 72 hours after surgery I was doing 30min walks around my hotel climbing 3 or 4 flights of stairs at a time. Walking after surgery is very important to your recovery every time I went walking it got easier and easier. Good luck!
