DuranFan1969 119 Posted December 17, 2012 My surgeon and NUT both told me absolutely not before 6 months post-op. I was looking forward to that 6 month mark for so long and when it hit ... I didn't want to have it, although I stood and stared at the wine aisle for a long time deciding what I wanted. I'm not sure why I didn't, other than I just had a feeling my body wasn't ready. Is it? Nicolanz 1,484 Posted December 17, 2012 I tried again last night and I'm 6 weeks out. It feels really weird to me like a burning tingling sensation through my whole mid section. I was only able to drink half a glass before feeling tipsy. Weird! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
