Darla5060 68 Posted December 14, 2012 Your hormones may be out of whack for a little while...just go with the flow, get lots of rest and focus on yourself and recovering. It's normal, and it'll pass. 1 xavtay2 reacted to this
Julieann87 19 Posted December 14, 2012 Thanks I'm trying lol. That's probably the biggest problem is I haven't been able to sleep so that's probably making me cranky!
Darla5060 68 Posted December 14, 2012 sleeping was hard for me, too! And I had no energy. The good times are coming, I promise.
newkat12 65 Posted December 15, 2012 sleep is so important to recovery and lack of it can really have a negative impact on mood as well. I was having a hard time sleeping starting immediately after surgery. I just couldn't get comfortable. My mom suggested a body pillow and went out to Bed Bath & Beyond and got me one for less than $20. It changed everything. I sleep better than I ever did and think it is having a really positive impact on my recovery. My husband named the body pillow Steve. The three of us are very happy together. Donny 270 Posted December 17, 2012 I kept to myself for the first 4 weeks after surgery. I just wanted to be by myself and recover. I also wanted to reach mushies so I could eat at places they went.
