altagirl 127 Posted February 9, 2013 I cant imagine not being hungry. I always want to eat. It is like a monkey on my back if I can use that metaphor. I want to be free of it ( and wear some tight jeans) Also sick of diabetes meds that make me sick. Even if I can decrease them it will be great. Thanks for your stories Before I had the surgery I could not imagine not feeling hungry - It is great. For a few months I had to set my alarm to remind myself to eat. I did not have that "head hunger" struggle that some people have. The only time I have had problems with eating was at nights and weekends - if I am bored. I tend to want to snack and have to work on my self control. Three weeks ago, I started a hand piece quilting class. It has made a HUGE difference. Now I have something to do - it is tedious and I am surprised by how much I have enjoyed having a project.
altagirl 127 Posted February 9, 2013 My self pay in Mexico was 5,600 for a band sleeve revision, Mexico is a great place to go for surgery. I had my band there and had no second thoughts about going for my sleeve. I will be going back for an arm lift if needed, my insurance will pay for my tummy tuck! Jana, sleeved 1/31/13 I had surgery in Mexico with Dr Ortiz. I admit I had some reservations but, now, don't hesitate to recommend it as a great alternative. Lucky you that your insurance will pay for a tummy tuck! I have just starting investigating those prices - I really want a flat stomach!
