Kaylee 13 Posted January 9, 2013 It's kind of bittersweet having the drain lol. Mine was hardly collecting anything, but there were a few small blood clots in it. My mom is a nurse so she had these injectable blood thinner solutions (not positive what it was called) and injected them into our abdomens once a day. Mine still did not collect much. However, hers was full often! I think it's better to have the Fluid come out instead of staying there and swelling....but maybe she wouldn't have produced so much if it wasn't draining?!
