lucky8mb1 167 Posted December 14, 2012 I'm only a few days post-op and still on Clear liquids, but I'm already daydreaming about moving up to shakes and purees! I need a change of pace soon! My doc likes Chike, so I have a big bin of vanilla flavored powder. I also plan to pick up some additional Chike flavor samples and maybe some powders? utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury and nectar samplers as well. Plain vanilla Chike isn't exactly what I call delish, but I know it could have potential with some additional flavors added in. What are your favorite add-ins (syrups, extracts, fruits, etc) to make Protein Shakes taste a bit more palatable? Also - do you make yours with Water or milk? Thanks! Katie713 423 Posted December 14, 2012 I use Pure Protein Powder in frosty chocolate mixed with half a scoop of Click espresso Protein powder with Water and a splash of fat free milk, crushed ice and a squirt of SF salted caramel Torani Syrup. Talk about a frapaccino!! And its about 40 grams of protein and 240 calories ad it makes a huge serving.
TheGamer 406 Posted December 14, 2012 I love making up some blueberry tea (Celestial Seasonings) and adding in frozen blueberries and a little splenda to a vanilla shake. It looks like you stuck a smurf in a blender and tastes delicious. 1 rmeofone reacted to this
suepeeps 230 Posted December 14, 2012 I love PB2 (powdered peanut butter) and a t of SF chocolate pudding. (torani SF carmel is great in that) SF pistacio pudding with vanilla powder YUMMY SF cheesecake pudding with vanilla powder and blueberries I just add 1 t of the SF puddings. All of the Torain SF syrups are a nice flavor for shakes.
Giselle3264 175 Posted December 14, 2012 My two favorites are fresh strawberries (NOT advised until several weeks post op) and light chocolate Silk milk. Not a big almond fan, but almond milk sounds like an interesting option.

WillowsAngel_32513 70 Posted December 14, 2012 Torani sugarfree syrups are awesome, and i also like yoplait frozen smoothie bags in the freezer section, it only takes a few pieces out if the bag and they last a while.....
