Mystie 146 Posted December 13, 2012 I have some nice dresses I totally love, and will fit into again after I lose another 50lbs or so, and I'll probably miss them when I get to skinny for them. I think I'll get over it, though.

Rootman 1,101 Posted December 14, 2012 I kept all mine till I just about reached goal and then took an unbeleivably big pile of stuff to a donation place, it felt so good, I regretted all the money "wasted" but thought it was cool all the stuff I got rid of - and most of all all the closet space I now had. Beckyyb93 225 Posted December 14, 2012 I'm looking forward to new clothes...I have managed to wear designer clothes at my current weight which isn't an easy feat but I've always splurged on clothes and shoes. Anyways, I can't wait to fit into my favorite designers for real! When I get rid of my clothes, I'll sell them and easily make $600+ which will help me with my new wardrobe. doxieville 799 Posted December 14, 2012 I am just about done 'shopping' for sizes in my closet. I will need to get new clothes soon. My question to all you shoppers, how do I pick a new style? I am not a 'clothes horse' and don't like to shop. But I don't want to buy crappy clothes and have a wardrobe full of clothes that i won't wear. I'm like Rootman, i'm enjoying my extra closet space!! I'd appreciate some shopping tips! Thanks.

doxieville 799 Posted December 14, 2012 Ooh' date=' this is my area of expertise. First question, how old are you and what is your personality like?[/quote'] AWESOME!!! I am 51. Years old. I am very casual. I am building up a business in working with animals, mostly dogs. I go into people's home and help them with their troubled animals. I do NOT like to wear 'cutesy' animal shirts. So that's for work. Day to day I am a jeans & pretty top person. I have no clue where I should even start shopping. I was a lane bryant shopper. Thanks!! I LOVE Nordstrom Rack, and I think you would have a hay day in there if you happen to have one near you. There's also Neiman Marcus Last Call. These are all the overflow of clothes from the huge expensive department stores at a fraction of the price. My boyfriend's mom who is in her 50's and sounds like is a very similar style to you swears by these stores. They have everything from jeans to dresses to suits to t-shirts and everything in between. Even skin care and shoes. If you don't have one of those let me know but if you do, try taking a look!
Keepgoing247 116 Posted December 14, 2012 Do you have a Pinterest account? They have a fashion section and I have gone and "pinned" a bunch of cute styles I like. I'm a Lane Bryant shopper and am excited to be able to have an actual style, not just the clothes that hide my fat the best! I also get great recipes on Pinterest!
