Yes, happy where I am at:

High: 360

Sw: 335

5.5 months: 205

Sleeved: 7/2

It has been hard work, but completely worth it.

I'm really happy with my results so far.

And I can say that I've gotten out of it what I've put into it.

I just want to maintain consistency. Stalls don't bother me, they are part of what is expected.

Yes, but again hard work. Stuck to a low carb, low fat and high Protein diet. No deviation ever. Some may not like this kind of displine, but I strive on it once my mind is set on a goal. I also walked every day started using the ellyptical at week 6 and started running last week. By the way, I followed a 3 hour eating plan where I had 3-4 ounces of protein every 3 hours after being cleared for solids. My advice is to find something you can stick to and follow it to a "t" Do not let anything get in your way because you are stronger then any temptation.

I am very happy at 6 months and looking forward to moving along toward goal in the next 6 months. It is work-hard work, and it has taken me time to find my groove, but I am finding and falling in line. Don't ever want to go back to "before"

I'm delighted with the results!!! Best thing I've ever done! Like a previous poster said " you get what you put in"!

I've lost 59 lbs since my surgery on 9/18/12.

I've recently started turbo kickboxing,

Piyo- ( which is Pilates and yoga) and muscle conditioning. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine taking these classes! And I enjoy them!!!

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
