Cessna150 2 Posted January 9, 2013 Sleeved 9-11-12 day of surgery weight 287 Todays weight 233 54 pounds in almost four months, but it does seem to be slowing down.
MCM 15 Posted January 9, 2013 I was sleeved on 9/7 and lost 20 lbs before surgery and 50 since. Every day I learn something new about having the sleeve and my reactions to it. For instance, I didn't know until today that acid reflux can be interpreted by the body as hunger. And just last week I found that my sugar cravings might be made worse because I'm really thirsty instead. I'm more than halfway to goal, and I know that the hard work is still ahead but I'm so excited to be on this journey. Very grateful for this forum and all the other support!
