mrchris 98 Posted December 11, 2012 I wasn't the 13th but the 15th, so very close! I'm down 33 since surgery and 54 since starting the pre-op diet 11 days before. But my doc's post op diet is pretty strict and still on full liquids until this Thursday and then I get pureed. It's brutal as I feel great and like eating but I'm also sure it's contributing to the better than average weight loss. I also think any physical activity you can do helps tremendously. I've managed despite terrible weather to get in quite a lot of walking. I'm anxious to sink my teeth in something meaningful even if just a bit of chicken but very thankful for the outcome I've experienced. Best part is I've felt great all along. Surgery was on a Thursday and I was out shopping that Saturday and back to work on that Monday and felt perfect. But so sick of drinking my meals!

zbeeze 17 Posted December 11, 2012 I was sleeved 11/8 and have been in the "stall" for two weeks now. Down 24 pounds and then nothing! Oh well, based on everything I've read this is normal. Saw the nutritionist yesterday, she said I need to increase my Protein and calories! UGH -- it's hard work consuming all of this in one day. Almost a full time job I am feeling strong and good these days. If I over do it though (like Saturday), I'm down for the count the next day! So, I'm trying to learn to "pace" myself better. I still struggle eating enough and definitely have NO hunger and no desire for food, so it really is a JOB to eat. I'm on soft foods now until the first week in January, then the nut expects me to be at 1000 calories and NO liquid supplements at that time. Boy, do I have my work cut out for me. I have never had nausea, nor any issues consuming any of the foods on my list. Just not interested in eating! What a weird problem (after all these years)!!!
