lauren428 0 Posted December 11, 2012 When were you guys able to start sleeping on your side or belly after surgery? Im almost 2 weeks out and I still can't.. It still hurts to sleep on my stomach. :/ I was sleeved on 10/31/12. I found wearing something tight around middle helped. I bought an abdominal binder, only wore for two weeks but it really helped. Good luck!
indian 22 Posted December 11, 2012 For three weeks I slept on my right side. Please avoid sleeping on your left side or on belly. Try not to sleep during the day and till late at night. That way you will have sound sleep in the night. You would also be feeling less sleepy after surgery. 1 Carol Watts reacted to this

SunnyCox 245 Posted December 11, 2012 I was also on my stomach the first night. It really helped relieve the gas. For my gallbladder surgery, I couldn't sleep on my stomach for almost two weeks.

joyful noise 101 Posted December 11, 2012 I was on my left side from day 3 on. I had to use body pillows to keep me from turning onto my right side. That was until 3 weeks out, when right side sleeping didn't hurt anymore.
