MissCupcake 3 Posted December 11, 2012 Hey everyone... I'm 2 weeks out, and today something strange happened. I woke up today with what I think was a panic attack. My heart started racing, I felt light headed, and like I wanted to pass out. These are the same symptioms as my panic attacks. Could it be that I'm not eating good, low calorie, low Protein? Or because I had PB2 mixed in my yogurt? I'm clueless. I'm wondering if the surgery is mesing with my hormones. Has anyone experienced anything similar? Please help... karen_golfs 11 Posted December 11, 2012 The surgery definitely messes with our hormones - sometime knowing that will help a little. Are you getting plenty of Protein? Calories are not as important this early out. If you don't feel better, contact your medical team.
MissCupcake 3 Posted December 11, 2012 Im not getting in enough Protein since most shakes give me heart burn. No clue of what to do:(
karen_golfs 11 Posted December 11, 2012 What brand of shakes have you been using? What are you mixing them with? Any premix? Fortunately, there are dozens of brands and flavors of Protein. Keep hunting til you find one you can use. I have some Unjury mixes that I mix with Silk Lite. I have never had soy milk before and was determined not to like it. I was so wrong! Unjury make an unflavored protein you can mix in anything - sugar free Jello, sugar free pudding, Soup (that is not over 140 degrees). I hope you get relief soon!
