Banned member 320 Posted December 11, 2012 I'm not saying that Protein can cause a stall but I upped my protein to 60+ grams a day about a week ago and in that time I've lost 3 lbs. I was probably getting about 20-40g before I upped it. I now drink 2 shakes a day and that gets me up to 66g of protein and then I continue to eat protein during the day, so I probably end up around 80g. The only downside is Constipation and I've been taking about 2-3 colace a day and drinking lots of Water. My cravings have also disappeared once I upped my protein. I drink Isopure and it's 50g of protein for 2 scoops and only 2g of carbs

delta_girl 931 Posted December 11, 2012 I broke out of my most recent stall by increasing the intensity of my exercise. I guess they are going to happen from time to time no matter what. I really wish there was a magic bullet that would always work.
