akwitham72 72 Posted December 10, 2012 I must be going a little Wacko Jacko since it is getting so close to my surgery date. I have twice dreamt that I am on the surgery table and the surgeon and all the nurses and staff are totally making fun of me in spanish. "Hey guys we sure got ourselves a real big one this time." "She sure could of used a sharper razor on those legs and pits." I am knocked out during this time, but I can totally hear them and understand them (I don't speak spanish). In my head I am screaming "Hey *@$holes I can totally hear you!" 5 NORCALRN, JoJo57, Ms.AntiBand and 2 others reacted to this
Traci J. 207 Posted December 10, 2012 That is hilarious. If you've ever watched medical shows you know the Dr's always talk smack about their patient's while they're under. They can say whatever they want about me, as long as I don't wake up to hear it I'll be good to go! LOL 1 ProudGrammy reacted to this
MrsGina 101 Posted December 10, 2012 When the surgeons at mayo Clinic did my other surgery, there was a sign by the operating table that said, "Remember they can hear you". Lol. I sure don't want to hear them or feel them!! Glad it was only a dream!
LittleMissSunshine 9 Posted December 10, 2012 Lol that's too funny. I was so worried about them talking about me also because of all the medical shows. My husband kept telling me I was crazy and that they would be professional but I still worried about it up to the time they took me back for surgery.
HoosierGirl 780 Posted December 11, 2012 Oh this is super funny.....but, um, I had not thought about this. Now I have a new worry to obsess over! UGH! Ha ha. In all seriousness, does Dr. Ponce gives you a surgery DVD?
Ms.AntiBand 2,984 Posted December 16, 2012 Heh.. You think that's bad, have you ever looked at an illustration of the surgery procedure being performed? Too funny!
