vsginnj 415 Posted December 10, 2012 Call your doctor!
deedeemuffin 346 Posted December 10, 2012 Definitely call your doctor. I know my doctor doesn't want me really lifting much of anything for a full 8 weeks. Also, if I have to bend they want it done from the knees & not the waist. I wouldn't take any chances.
MaryDrew 41 Posted December 10, 2012 My surgeon said not to lift more than 8 lbs for 3 weeks. 8 lbs is just a gallon of milk. I'm not even carrying laundry at this point. Today I am 1 week post op.
Pookeyism 1,143 Posted December 10, 2012 With it being Water, maybe not, the swishing back and forth will require more effort than you realize...

skintowin 21 Posted December 10, 2012 Good thing my BF doesn't read this, I plan on milking the ” can't lift things” for as long as I can. That will take care of laundry, shopping, vacuum ooh I can't wait :-)

I let others do the lifting and enjoyed every second of it. 1 skintowin reacted to this
