twinsmama05 166 Posted December 8, 2012 Ok I am on need of something to get rid of the massive headache I have. Has anyone taken aleave? Do I have to crush it!
BeGuiled 36 Posted December 8, 2012 I think it depends how far out you are ? I purchased liquid tylenol for use post op. Crushing time release tablets may make it work faster than a regular old aspirin pill or something, maybe a half is good, or 2 regular tylenols instead crushed. could just also put it in dilliuted juice and get it in your system quicker than in a shake or what have you. BeGuiled 36 Posted December 8, 2012 Cool, I have 3 days until surgery the 11th, can't wait to be on the flip side of that and all. If you were a few months out I'd ask why you don't just take a pill, I guess that aleave would be good then.

tinarho 29 Posted December 8, 2012 most headaches are caused by dehydration. are you getting enough liquids?
Ballermom 803 Posted December 8, 2012 I suffer From Migraines. I suggest hydrate. Hydrate! I finding drinking Water helps a lot. I hated water though. It's my friend now. I give my son coconut water after sports for his. I was recently sick and water with sea salt 1 tsp per bottle helped. Made a Gatorade like drink. But caution that check with your physician about using salt/ if blood pressure issues etc. I works for me.
twinsmama05 166 Posted December 8, 2012 Thanks everyone. I wound up going home and going to sleep and headache was gone this morning I think it was a combo of the heat at work. We have no windows and it was warm and the air was broke. Also it was damp and raining. My 3 out of the 5 of us had headaches
