sramos89 260 Posted December 7, 2012 I work in an office and took two weeks off but I could have gone back after a week. I enjoyed the second week because I could spend time getting used to the new way of eating.
eclipse 67 Posted December 7, 2012 I took off three weeks. It took me about 9 days to come off the narcotics. Then I still had a bit of pain (manageable with Tylenol), but I was tired. My third week was lovely and I could have been at work. I'm glad I had it though. I went back to work and hit the ground running.

Kristi64 33 Posted December 7, 2012 i came back in 2 weeks but my job is alot of up and down. Im doing ok but the fist day i almost fainted but my nut said it was because i was starving myself...I bout the premeir Protein shakes from SAMS that have 30 grams pf Protein in them...been drinking tywo a day and feel much better but still tired. If you have a desk job 2 weeks should be plenty. If your job is real active you might want to try and take 3 and do what they tell you to get in your Proteins and Fluid. I regret not getting it in like i was supposed to. good luck ~kris
Donny 270 Posted December 7, 2012 I took two weeks off as well. I was home and weak during week one, week two I flew to Las Vegas and walked all day at the SEMA show and cruzed the strip most days and nights. Eating and drinking is super important to follow but my energy and pain was fine after week 1. I never took pain killers once I left the hospital. It all depends how your body handles the surgery, but good luck!
eclipse 67 Posted December 8, 2012 What kind of narcotics were you on? I had liquid roxicet and even though I never took the maximum dose it kept me dazed and sleepy.
