Vidalia 122 Posted December 6, 2012 I will complete my 4th week tomorrow. Last night I ate a small handful of cashews. I know they are high fat, but I think it was a turning point for me. They were so good and did not bother me at all. That is the most normal I have felt since surgery. I can do this! 2 nikic408 and doxieville reacted to this
doxieville 799 Posted December 6, 2012 Nuts are a good fat!! As long as it's in moderation and your sleeve can handle them, go for it!! Congrats!! I remember my turning point was at about 4 weeks too. I felt so relieved. Elated. Like 'NOW my new life starts and I can do this!' Is that kinda how you feel? :-) 1 Vidalia reacted to this
suzthebrit 146 Posted December 6, 2012 Me too! I was just 4 weeks yesterday and ate some chicken curry and rice for dinner. I too then looked at my husband and said 'look at me. Eating like a normal human being!' I have so much more energy now too. Keep it up. 2 39m and Vidalia reacted to this

39m 5 Posted December 7, 2012 Oh I loved cashew nuts and almonds ! I could handle them at the end of week 3 I think , when I had trouble eating even mashed potatoes.. Hang in there.. you need 2 more weeks to feel much better.. 1 Vidalia reacted to this
