Ok, I was banded on 9-18 had my first fill on 10-17 and I'm still ravenously hungry, is that normal? I'm not sure this is working. When did you start to feel "restriction" and what exactly does that feel like? I've had no problem eating, no PB's, no nausea. I guess lucky for me, 'cause I don't want any of that. I'm thinking I should feel something different, but I don't. Anyone out there in Band Land thats had the same thing and how'd it work out for you?

It usually takes more than one fill to do the trick. I had 4 fills before I actually felt good restriction. Some people feel it right away while others take more. Good Luck!

I agree with Betty. I had 1.25 first fill, no restriction, .75 second fill, no restriction, .65 third fill which puts me at 2.65 in a 4.00cc's band and I just now have restriction. Good luck.

I have had 4 fills and 2-3 unfills. This is the first time I have felt restriction of any kind. I was hungry after surgery and only through my will power have I stopped eating. Now all of a sudden, 15 days after the last fill, I am no longer hungry. Bottom Line: it just takes time.

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
