columbo1 1 Posted December 5, 2012 I have been stalking this site for some time but this is the first that I have ever posted. I am set for my sleeve surgery at Vanderbilt on 12/18/2012 and honestly, I wish it was tomorrow I am not apprehensive about it at all and want it to be here. I am so amazed at how smooth the whole thing has gone at Vanderbilt (Vanderbilt Center for Surgical Weight Loss) and even faster over 7 months of messing with this, I am still stoked! I am so much looking forward to feeling better, looking better, not sleeping with that blasted cpap thing on my nose..being able to keep my pants up, walking better, which is hard enough after a partial foot amputation and huge Frankenstein ortho boots, and well, everything. I try to read the experiences of all the other folks and try to take into account that everyone is different and has different feelings about what is going on with the whole deal, but I am one of those that realizes that this is what has to happen, do it, and go away happy...no regrets, freedom. I can't wait! 1 Catherine Shinn Habhab reacted to this
mommy1990 10 Posted December 5, 2012 I too look forward to losing the c-pap mask and hopefully the diabetes. May or June can't come fast enough! Good luck to you!
