I am new to this type of thing...e-mail is about as high tech as I have gotten until now, so bare with me.

My name is Terri and I am in the process of planning for Lap Band surgery. I am leaning towards Dr. Ariel Ortiz in Tijuana, Mexico. I am hoping for March, unless I can get financing including trip expenses sooner. I would love any personal experience about inexpensive doc's, financing options and whatever else may be helpful to me.

Hi Terri! You did great, and welcome to LBT! I'm sure you'll get lots of thoughts and advice about Mexico and financing, though I have nothing to offer on either. Just wanted to say hi and welcome!

      The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

        Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
