I would not worry! It'll happen! Are you drinking enough Water? I have heard that if you aren't, it will hold your weight loss back. Also, if you don't get enough calories in believe it or not! Drink a ton of water today (over the 64 oz if possible) and weigh yourself tomorrow! Also, if you are constipated, that could also be a reason. The water helps that too, or if need be, take something!

It's not uncommon to stall. Do a search for week 3 stall and you'll see what I mean. It seems that for some reason, a LOT of people stop losing weight for a while in that time frame. It can last for a couple weeks or more, but what I found is that even when I gained two pounds over the course of a couple weeks (even while I was only eating 600 calories a day!) I lost inches even though the scale went the wrong way. Just stick with what you've been told to do and it will work.

Seriously? That's a pound a day ladies! The sleeve surgery isn't an instant fix. Give your body a chance to lose the years of weight it's been dealing with.

Don't panic, just focus on getting your fluids in at this time. The weight will come off. This is the time that your stomach is still healing from the trauma and your your bodies energy is working on repairing the stomach. Not a big deal. The weight will melt off, it will take time. So take a deep breath and exhale a few times and walk as much as possible...... :)

I had a stall at 3 weeks too, but I was still losing inches. I was not really concerned about it, I also noticed another stall when I started soft foods. I didn't realize I wasn't 'going' enough, and tried a greek yogurt which made EVERYTHING go, and I lost 4 lbs over night! I also had another stall, and gain of 2 lbs for 2 days before my monthly 'time', now that I have the visit, I'm back down those 2 lbs, plus another lb. Just be patient, I think everyone here gave great advice, Water water water, and stick with it! One day at a time, ladies!!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
