MrsM 31 Posted December 4, 2012 I would not worry! It'll happen! Are you drinking enough Water? I have heard that if you aren't, it will hold your weight loss back. Also, if you don't get enough calories in believe it or not! Drink a ton of water today (over the 64 oz if possible) and weigh yourself tomorrow! Also, if you are constipated, that could also be a reason. The water helps that too, or if need be, take something!
Big Dee 4 Posted December 4, 2012 Yeah I'm constipated also started taking stool softeners yesterday. Ok I'm gonna drink a ton of Water today. Thanks all. 1 MrsM reacted to this
TheGamer 406 Posted December 4, 2012 It's not uncommon to stall. Do a search for week 3 stall and you'll see what I mean. It seems that for some reason, a LOT of people stop losing weight for a while in that time frame. It can last for a couple weeks or more, but what I found is that even when I gained two pounds over the course of a couple weeks (even while I was only eating 600 calories a day!) I lost inches even though the scale went the wrong way. Just stick with what you've been told to do and it will work. 2 920amy and MrsM reacted to this
doxieville 799 Posted December 4, 2012 Seriously? That's a pound a day ladies! The sleeve surgery isn't an instant fix. Give your body a chance to lose the years of weight it's been dealing with. 2 TheGamer and 920amy reacted to this
Ms skinniness 3,003 Posted December 4, 2012 Don't panic, just focus on getting your fluids in at this time. The weight will come off. This is the time that your stomach is still healing from the trauma and your your bodies energy is working on repairing the stomach. Not a big deal. The weight will melt off, it will take time. So take a deep breath and exhale a few times and walk as much as possible...... 2 MrsM and Dette reacted to this
icon23 273 Posted December 4, 2012 If you haven't read this article about stalls, you should--it explains a lot: http://www.dsfacts.com/weight-loss-stall-or-plateau.html 2 MrsM and 920amy reacted to this
920amy 409 Posted December 4, 2012 I had a stall at 3 weeks too, but I was still losing inches. I was not really concerned about it, I also noticed another stall when I started soft foods. I didn't realize I wasn't 'going' enough, and tried a greek yogurt which made EVERYTHING go, and I lost 4 lbs over night! I also had another stall, and gain of 2 lbs for 2 days before my monthly 'time', now that I have the visit, I'm back down those 2 lbs, plus another lb. Just be patient, I think everyone here gave great advice, Water water water, and stick with it! One day at a time, ladies!! 1 Big Dee reacted to this
