I'm getting the lap band on November 20th with Dr. Huacuz.....

Any advice?

I'm currently 503' and weigh 234lbs, I've tried diets and exercise but I need some help controlling and limiting my intake.:hungry:

Congratulations on your upcoming surgery! I am also in Texas (Dallas). I am 4 months out, and feeling so much healthier than before. My hypertension is gone, and I am down 40 lbs so far.

I hope to be writing in here in a few months with progress like ya'll have gotten with the lap bands. And yes I'll look into some threads and see what info I receive. Thanks again, and I hope to hear from ya'll again.

Hi all!!! I am from denison,tx and was banded on 10-29-2008 . I'm still on liquids for two more weeks.i'm also 5"3' and weigh 229lbs i'm down 10lbs from the fourteen day liquid pre-op. I'm looking for a buddy to share our progress and trade recipes.< /p>
