smithpy 117 Posted December 3, 2012 Just want to chow down on a handful of crackers. I'm not hungry but can feel those emotional eating habits weighing on me. 1 Ms skinniness reacted to this
delta_girl 931 Posted December 3, 2012 Eat some Protein instead of crackers. But I know how you feel. Yesterday I had 4 cups of coffee then didn't eat all day. Then last night around 10 I ate salted edamame. This isn't typical, but happens sometimes. I'm in a big stall so didn't worry about it.
smithpy 117 Posted December 3, 2012 I am in a stall too. It's been about a week. The first time I hit a stall I almost died, but now I know that's it's temporary. I go on Bariatric regular foods tomorrow. I cannot wait. I'm going to ask the nutritionist if I can have the edamame now. I'm taking your advice and drinking some of my Premier Protein, but my mind still wants one of my daughter's Cheez-Its. 1 Ms skinniness reacted to this
Ms skinniness 3,003 Posted December 3, 2012 That is head hunger talking to you. This is something that we have to learn to recognize and devise a plan to not act on eating those crazy crackers. I am telling myself that just because I have this thought of M&M peanuts doesn't mean I have to act on it. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't work.....When i actually give in,it doesn't taste as good as I thought it would. This is my struggle till this day. LOL 1 smithpy reacted to this
smithpy 117 Posted December 5, 2012 Today I just gave into the notion that I need to let the simple carbohydrates go. Too many calories for my limited appetite. I need to do all I can to get in my Protein and Water.< /p>
iegal 460 Posted December 5, 2012 Eat to survive, not for what your head wants. Give your body what is really needs. Protein. You can do this! The more you change your thinking and chant, "eat to sustain" rather than "oh, that sounds good" you will improve your choices and increase your well being. Hugs, you can do this!!!
