fgotr121 11 Posted December 3, 2012 I am one mont post op and had my period when I had surgery. I started again a few days ago but it is very light--so light that I don't know what day to call day one, but have been spotting for 3 days. I have read that most have heavier periods after VSG... Anyone have lighter?

LadyK 164 Posted December 3, 2012 My surgery was on 9/27/12 and mine is back like clock work and did not skip a beat. I started a few days after surgery, right on time, on October 4th, it was quite a bit lighter, but the next month....my gracious everything was back in full swing and back with a vengeance. I WISH mine was lighter and less crampy. I felt like the surgery made no difference in that aspect. I still get salty and sweet cravings too. This month was weird though, I was actually craving meat, even though I had plenty of Protein LOL

Trouble1975 2 Posted December 3, 2012 I wonder since the surgery caused me to start early that its thrown me off. Dec. 5th I'll be a exactly 30 days post op.
tamjo37 37 Posted December 3, 2012 I started spotting on schedule after my surgery but spotted for 4 days which is unusual. I'm 3 months out now and find from 4 to 5 days to 3 to 4 days. Which is totally fine in my book!
