GlendaLee 44 Posted December 2, 2012 I'm 5 days post op...pre op I was taking blood pressure, cholesterol, asthma meds. Upon discharge, the Dr. wrote a new script for my Diovan (blood pressure) excluding the Water pill part of it, and was adamant that I crush it to a powder. Not huge, none are...luckily was able to discontinue quite a few meds...but not blood pressure, and I take mood pill and sleep pill...told to crush crus crush....
