vanessabalderas 10 Posted December 2, 2012 I feel a little discouraged about my sleeve since I have yet to feel ”full” or satisfied after a meal. As a matter of fact, I woke up from surgery STARVING! It's five days now and i'm eating 4 Oz per meal, like instructed. Every time I take a bite or drink of something, my stomach gets super bubbly and I get a hunger pain with each sip. I'm also still starving after I finish my meal. Is this normal? Does it get easier? Should I try to eat a little more or continue to starve?
LaBelle509 326 Posted December 2, 2012 it does get easier! hang in there. As you healing things will get better and easier. Also, once you start eating solid foods, you will start feeling the "restriction" from the sleeve and feel "full" sooner. During the first week, my head hunger was unbearable! It took time for me to understand what I was feeling was not physical hunger. Every week will be easier than the last. Stay hydrated, eat slowly, chew well, get plenty of rest, and keep a positive outlook 1 LovelyPea reacted to this
