taylorp6 1 Posted December 2, 2012 I love that thought ! I am also on my second day of a high-protein liquid diet and my surgery is also on December 14th. I am struggling to get all of my Protein in, as I cannot hardly stomach the protein. I think I need to slow down when drinking it but it taste so horrible I just want to get it down. tzepeda 29 Posted December 2, 2012 All I was told was two shakes that are under 200 calories and 20 gram protien along with lean and green. I'm doing the Body by Vi shakes they have 90 calories and 12 grams protien so I actually end up with 4 shakes and dinner Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
adover27 0 Posted December 12, 2012 I am on day four of my pre-op diet (surgery is on Dec. 19th) and I'm struggling with getting enough carbs! I'm so sick of yogurt, Soup, V8, etc... Now I get nauseated just smelling any of it! I get my Protein with one of those horrible NewWhey bullets. Yes, they are horrible, but I just hold my nose, drink it down and then I only have to worry about getting 20 more grams for the rest of the day. I had no idea this 10-day liquid diet would be so hard. I feel like I'm starving. YUCK! Any keys to success out there? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
