Frustrated...2 Wk Stall

Recommended Posts

I've read about the stalls and it didn't bother me last week but now that's its been 2 wks I'm getting annoyed. I'm almost 7 wks post op, 53 lbs down, but haven't lost a think in two weeks. Except inches...I've lost 6 in the bust and 5 1/2 in the waist in the 2 wks my weight has stalled. I haven't begun exercising yet so it doesn't make sense to me. I'm still not getting all my Protein in and just this week started to be able to get in all my fluids. ???????

Are you about to get your period? My stalls tend to happen 2 weeks before my period. My stalls have been fairly predictable and like clock work I always stall after ovulation and before my period. Once my period comes the weight starts to drop again and then it will stall once ovulation comes.

No, don't think so. I had an ablation so my periods are extremely light and I had one 2 wks ago. I haven't had much of a bm though maybe I need to take something and see if that works.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
