Hi I'm a pre sleever

Last headache, hydration helped me a lot. Hope you feel better soon. Congrats on your surgery.

I was just at the doctor yesterday and asked this very question... this was their answer.

Try the liquid Lortab first, then tylenol and if it's absolutely needed I can have some ibuprofen but it makes you bleed so it's a last resort and kind of like the kill switch. You can only do it once.

This was in the event of a Migraine, regular headache?? Tylenol and a quick prayer (Dr's advice not mine lol)

Me and my son have Migraines. Mine is often. His is after sports. We are finding that adding coconut Water or at least hydrate yourself too will help. Here's a prayer to becoming headache free!

I was a horrible Migraine suffer pre surgery, since surgery, I have only had small HA's. They do go away with tylenol. But if I get a migraine, I'm going to urgent care for a shot. I have learned not to suffer. I am totally enjoying being HA free......... Dancing in the rain today!

Wow wondering what helped your headache besides Tylenol?

Drinking more Water or fluids usually helps with mine. I have also had some tension headaches though from the weight loss and carrying myself different so I try to stretch throughout the day too

Thanks all, I went out and bought me some liquid Tylenol. But, also drank more Water and the headache seemed to have subsided. Perhaps, I was getting a wee bit dehydrated. Rock on with your weight losses...

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
