suzthebrit 146 Posted November 30, 2012 It does sound like gas but you need to go to the er to be sure it's not something that's going to kill you! Better safe than sorry!
tallysfunny 363 Posted November 30, 2012 Go to the ER. Go to the hospital you had your surgery in if possible. But I would go because it could be anything. Just take care of it ASAP!

SeriouslyChange 319 Posted November 30, 2012 How many days post op are you? Try to walk, when I was 1 day post op, I swear I was having a heart attack. And the nurses totally blew me off as well for saying that. I suppose everyone assumes its gas. If its not going away, you're not burping or farting, and it's increasing, go to the hospital. Better one false alarm than not doing anything when it really is something.

Jessielynn 112 Posted November 30, 2012 When I was 3 days post op I had to go back in the hospital for 3 more days! After being put under and having another procedure done, they found out my lower left lobe in my lungs collapsed from being put under and pneumonia had set in! I had a fever and SEVER CHEST PAINS! I'm not trying to scare you, but it's better to go to the hospital and it be heartburn, then stay home with onset of pneumonia! Please keep us updated, I will say a prayer for you! 1 Cresteds Mom reacted to this
