nklnh33 9 Posted November 30, 2012 Today is my first day of soft foods I just ate about 4 small bites and felt satisfied. Do you think it should be a few more than 4?! Or is that normal at first?

shabbychicprincess 19 Posted November 30, 2012 And that's the hardest thing to get used to , not being able to keep eating even though it was / is hard to stop .
FeeIsMe2 508 Posted November 30, 2012 It definitely takes time to get use to!
delta_girl 931 Posted November 30, 2012 I had my first few bites of salad last night. I used a very small dessert sized paper plate and put my bits of chicken and torn spinach on it, some low fat raspberry vinagrette, a few crumbles of feta and a tiny piece of avacado. When I got full I looked at my tiny plate and it looked like I had never eaten anything from it. It was still full of food. So leftovers for lunch today. It really seems bizarre when you think about how much we could eat before! 1 nklnh33 reacted to this

doxieville 799 Posted November 30, 2012 Your sleeve doesn't stretch. The inflammation will go down and your esophagus will not be as tight. 2 lyndynojo and delta_girl reacted to this

Holly5.3 423 Posted December 1, 2012 I buy Unjury brand unflavored Protein whey powder-it's saved the day for me! Post-op while on liquids, Unjury chicken broth was also something I had daily to get my 60-80 grams of protein in. For my Crystal lite drink, I put 1/2 scoop (10 grams if protein in my 32 oz water bottle with lots of ice. I also put a shaker ball in the bottle to mix well before drinking. I drink this in between meals all day as my Water. Search "Unjury" on line. Even when I called the 800 number, they were so helpful.
