amykins 202 Posted November 30, 2012 There are some excellent suggestions already mentioned, but just in case, the post in this thread about Dr Aceves patients is helpful for everyone going to Mexico. fletcherette 203 Posted November 30, 2012 I know some have suggested bringing broth but what about clear Protein mixes/drinks? Should they be brought to use in the hotel or can you wait til getting home to start protein?

I am bringing my powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury chicken broth with protein in it. Just in case the broth there is not up to par some love it. Some hate it. Other than that just focusing on clear liquid and will start more protein when I get home. sleever10 109 Posted December 6, 2012 I know some have suggested bringing broth but what about clear Protein mixes/drinks? Should they be brought to use in the hotel or can you wait til getting home to start Protein? Good question! I am stocking up on broth and Isopure for when I get back, but I hadn't thought about post-surgery! I am scheduled for the 20th with Aceves. 1 amykins reacted to this
JoJo57 63 Posted December 6, 2012 Great great thread. So helpful. What about money in case extra charges come up with doctor or hospital? Also I saw something about small bills for tips. Any input, oh wise ones? :-) Sent from my iPhone using VST

Oh, and I asked for ice chips and ate them by the spoonful. I now prefer super-cold drinks to hot ones. 1 sleever10 reacted to this

amykins 202 Posted December 7, 2012 PS Isopure is NASTY! Don't stock up too much. I bought two bottles and only took a couple sips of one. Blah!
sleever10 109 Posted December 7, 2012 PS Isopure is NASTY! Don't stock up too much. I bought two bottles and only took a couple sips of one. Blah! I imagine that it isn't very tasty but seems like a good way to get a lot of Protein. Even if it is gross I have to drink it!
