I've stalled as well. I'm 4 1/2 months out and been stuck between 211 - 213. So now I'm trying "Bootcamp" and see how that works for me.

I know it's going to sound crazy, but for the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) eat foods you wouldn't eat. Like if you go out to a restraunt get some Protein (obviously) but make sure it's a little on the indulgent side. Like for me, we go to this seafood place and I get bacon wrapped shrip stuffed with cheese and that seems to do the trick! And don't worry about the content, sometimes your body needs some fat and carbs to help speed up the process! And it can't be that bad for you, considering I can only eat two and then I'm stuffed

Basically, on a Saturday and Sunday don't count calories and eat what you feel like...it always works for me :)

I'm on the same boat I am 3 months out at stuck around 195, I gain a pound and lose it like every other day! My nut told me to up my Protein and Water. I'm frustrated because I am in between jean sizes so they r falling off of me or way to tight! So frustrating! I have added little exercises at work like more stairs or lunges but with my school and work schedule I have little time to go to the gym :/

When I hit an "adjustment period" I take a deep breath, eat what I would ordinarily eat, work out at the gym as I would any other day, and give my body the time it needs to get ready for its next big weight loss period. Time cures all....managing to remain consistent during those non-weight-loss periods is the key for me. BTW...when I'm not dropping pounds is when I tend to lose the most inches. Its all good. :)

I was in a stall for more than a month so I up my Water to 6 16oz bottles a day plus my Protein Shake another 12oz of Fluid and if I work out I add 2 more water bottles and it sure did the trick cause I was going nutts almost giving up so check your water intake maybe thats all you need like me. Good luck!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
