Back2Me2012 23 Posted November 28, 2012 Before getting pregnant with my 1st daughter in 2003 I was at 155, curvy, and loving it!! I then gave birth in 2004, followed by the births of my 2nd daughter in 2005, and my 3rd daughter in 2006.. Soon after I went into a major depression while being a stay at home mom due to my failing marriage & abusive ex-husband.. & food was my escape.. I got all the way up to 256.. I'm happy to say that in late 2009 I left the abuser, & began on my journey to finding myself again!! 2012 has been a great year for me thus far: I finalized my divorce finally, and recently graduated from college in August!! Having this surgery approved will mean the world to me, & will absolutely complete my amazing year!! I am currently Pre-op, and scheduled for the sleeve on 12/19!!!! I am very excited to start my 100 pound goal weight loss journey!!!! I have to start my 2 week Protein diet in 1 week, and any suggestions on which ones are good & affordable would be great!!!! as well as any pre-op & post-op information that may be helpful!!!!! My 3 amazing daughters are & always will be my inspiration to continue making something of my life!!!!! Thanks for listening!!!! I am so grateful for these forums & being able to relate to people who are going through & have gone through my journey!!!! Your stories inspire me daily!!!! God bless you all!!!! DianaE 128 Posted November 28, 2012 Your journey is inspiring! Everything you hyave done so far has required lots of strenght, courage, and faith! You should be so proud of yourself. I ordered 2 canisters of powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury (google), which I found, pretty good. I like the choc and vanilla. I still have some left and I am 5 weeks post-op. I also drank slim-fast which is not bad. It all takes getting used to and besides, if you are hungry enough most anything will take good . Just try to come out here daily when you can and read around on different subjects. This site has been very helpful to me since I dont have much of a support system at home. GOOD LUCK anf keep up all of the positive changes in your life.
