chad2rad 491 Posted November 27, 2012 My hospital is hosting a plastic surgery free seminar later tonight. This something I may want to do later, but I am only 2 months post op. Just wondering if if is too early to collect info on something that is over a year away, or would it be helpful now?
chad2rad 491 Posted November 27, 2012 Please advise if you have had experience especially. Thanks in advance. Chad
PdxMan 4,292 Posted November 27, 2012 I have not had this experience, yet, but at almost 17 months post-op, my body is still changing. I always said I was going to wait until 2 years post op before looking at these options. I didn't really want to investigate it early on as I knew there would be a lot of changes in the field in 2 years and everything I learned would be irrelevant and my thinking may be skewed. 4 ProudGrammy, danyelleb, Jenipher and 1 other reacted to this
chad2rad 491 Posted November 27, 2012 That was my hesitation as well. I think I will wait on the seminar and head to the gym where I need to be. Thanks pdx. 2 JerseyGirl68 and Ms skinniness reacted to this
TheRealMeIsHere! 863 Posted November 28, 2012 I say, the more information, the better. The more time you have to gather info, learn, ask questions, the better prepared you will be when the time comes. Sometimes you learn enough to ask questions that you never would've thought of before.
JamesHRN 114 Posted November 28, 2012 I have heard to wait 18-24 months because the body continues to change during this time frame
