robinem 0 Posted October 20, 2006 Hello All, This is my confession. I've been pretty good up until now. Today, I had my first bad food day (what I consider a bad food day) since surgery in July. I had two chicken wings and a slice and a half of pizza for lunch. I then had a normal dinner. I am getting my second fill next week, and have managed to lose weight, so its not a total disaster, but I've heard confession is good for the soul, so I am purging my guilt and will go forward tomorrow with the intent of doing better from now on. Thanks for the support.
Ariel 1 Posted October 20, 2006 robinem, we are all human. Don't beat your self over alittle slip. And isn't it funny now that a slip is a slice and a half of pizza and 2 wings. Goodluck with tomorrow

beachgirl 2 Posted October 20, 2006 I'm with you Jack, plus the white bread, flour products we don't need either. I'm now trying the hard Proteins only and it's really working.
NaturalBeauty 2 Posted October 20, 2006 Robin, we all have been there and done that. It's 1 or 2 meals and you are back on track. That's the great thing about the band, you can always get right back to the basics. Usually, when I've been good for so long and take a day off, I usually lose weight. I think the body is trying to tell us something. Continue strong!

I don't need no stinkin' pizza.... I got off of insulin the day of surgery.....Feb 28. My last A1c was 6.0 Isn't the BAND wonderful? I feel like it was worth it just for the improvement in health and the weight loss is a PLUS (or negative..teehee)

Sunta 5 Posted October 20, 2006 I eat pizza and hot wings all the time, whenever the mood strikes! I got my band to enjoy small portions of delicious food and have been doing so for eight months to the tune of nearly 60 pounds lost! Calories in, calories out. And no, I do not have a "fast metabolism" and I'm no different from anyone else. It's a myth that bandsters should stick only to healthy foods 24/7. The French sure don't and they're all thin! (of course they do exercise alot too but they eat pastry, cheese, and cream sauces almost every day!)
La_madam 20 Posted October 21, 2006 Tomorrow is a new day Robin, that is the great thing about the band, even though you think you ate alot, really it is now where what you ate pre band. Dont sweat the small stuff we all have or have had days like that and are still here losing the weight. Again, tomorrow is a new day get back on that "band" wagon!
