This is my first day back it feels kinda weird having to measure out food and liquids I'm in the soft stage and its so difficult to find foods I can eat I have to remember to bring lunch tommorow. So far I've had 1 scramble egg for Breakfast and 2oz mash potato with 1oz of very soft turkey breast. as of liquids I've done only 25oz I'm stuffed don't know how I can keep my Protein and liquids count for the day i'm 21 days post-op and I need advice because it's so hard to do.

Another question have any of you guys had very dry mouth in the mornings and feel lightheaded before having your Vitamins is this normal??

thanx guys I have tons of question but I don't want to overwhelmed with all of them but I do love this forum and want to keep in touch as much as I can :)

Hi, If you've got a smart phone Myfitnesspal.com is a great way to track your Protein and liquids for the day when you're on the run. It has such a great library of food and beverage counts it makes tracking very easy.

Soups where my friend for lunches on the go during the soft food stage, so was stir fried or curried tofu, loved cottage cheese with soft pears or peaches in a small container with a dash of Hymalian salt. I've attached my docs list of soft food stage...maybe it will start some ideas for you. Good luck being back to work.

  • Tofu
    Low fat cottage cheese
    Cereal
    Oatmeal
    Precooked pureed rice
    Low fat Yogurt
Yogurt mixed with fruit very well blended
Cream soups ( denser cream soups like cream of potato )
    Eggs
Boiled pureed fruit ( example pear, apple )
Watermelon, papaya or melon in small pieces
    Boiled pureed vegetables
    Beans …..Mayorcoa
    Mashed potatoes
