fletcherette 203 Posted November 26, 2012 Thanks for the sites simplejac girl. ANY websites, I have just begun talking with a coordinator for a self pay surgery in MX. Any sites on the surgery, questions to ask, what to expect, how to prepare, life afterwards etc would be great
funinthesun00 157 Posted November 26, 2012 I have a bit of an odd one. It's called mybodygallery.com. You can put it your height and a weight (the weight you want to be) and body type and it shows you pictures of people that meet that criteria. I have no idea how I will look at certain weights since it has been so long since I have been there. Anyway, it is kind of a fun thing to look at. 1 Threetimesacharm reacted to this

icon23 273 Posted November 26, 2012 How could I forget? This one is a website and it is great at explaining why we have stalls (and what to do): http://www.dsfacts.com/weight-loss-stall-or-plateau.html
fletcherette 203 Posted November 26, 2012 Icon23, one website I really like is http://www.obesityhelp.com/member/carmelita/blog/2011/03/31/-2/ I like it because it contains some statistics and explains the bougie (which prior to that website I hadn't even thought about)

Jesser 295 Posted November 26, 2012 I looked at others around my same weight, and they don't look as fat as I do... Lol or as fat as I perceive myself to be... This has to be a conspiracy!!! Who is behind this website!!! Lol
funinthesun00 157 Posted November 26, 2012 Funny. I think I have a reverse body image problem. I put in my height and weight and think "oh my gosh, am I really that fat?" Lol!

This has to be a conspiracy!!! Who is behind this website!!! Lol[/quote'] Perception is reality but not necessarily the truth... We tend to be really hard on ourselves.
