Does Anybody Blog Their Journey?

Recommended Posts

so I just recently started my blog journalizing my sleeve journey. I am curious if anybody else does this? I thought it would be a cool idea, so I just started mine today! Here is mine if you are interested.. mystorywiththesleeve.blogspot.com I am not sure if it will post that since it is a link and maybe it will block the link thinking it is advertising... But the name of mine is "My story with the sleeve" on blogger/BlogSpot. If you have one, post your link!

I was thinking of a movie instead. Kind of a video blog. It should be cool to look at it and see the progress. Good luck! When did you get your surgery? I'm supposed to do it on 12/17

I've been documenting mine in a blog on wordpress... I also started a twitter for it. My name there is also Mwrarr. I was waiting to start vlogs until I had a date/approval, so I guess tomorrow I'm going to do the 1st one since it will be 1 month pre-op. idk when I'll post them but my YouTube is HeartSteakAlaVodka. My blog is Mwrarr.wordpress.com

I'll look you up! :) I'm =^..^= on blogger, so if u see that symbol in a comment or something, it's me. :}

I've been blogging since the start of 2012. I find it therapeutic and a good way to get things off my chest. I don't post often, but it comes in spurts and stops. May move to a VBlog once I get approval from insurance, which is where I am now in the process.

      Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

        As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

      Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

        Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

        Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

        Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

      Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
