RareGold3000 185 Posted November 25, 2012 I was at my 3 month post op visit last Monday, and asked again when I would be able to have a drink. I rarely ever do, but wondered. Before I had surgery he had mentioned typically it's 6 months post op. After reviewing all of my blood work results and seeing that my weight loss was good, and I had no complications, he said I could now if I wanted to. I still haven't but it's good to know I may if I'd like to. Each surgeon I am sure is different, so double check with him/her. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
JamesHRN 114 Posted November 28, 2012 I have drank wine since about 2 months out maybe even at 6 weeks post-op without issue just remember it is calories that you are taking in and you will be a cheap drunk only about 1/2 of what I could drink before to get a buzz Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
