TheGamer 406 Posted November 24, 2012 For me, salad is a stage 6 food, so six weeks out. Every doctor says something different, though. Did you get a diet plan?

suepeeps 230 Posted November 24, 2012 2 months for me. I have never craved a salad. I love them but have never craved one until I couldn't have them! So happy when I could. I have one almost every day now. 1 Catherine Shinn Habhab reacted to this

Pinky Green 260 Posted November 24, 2012 What my doctor said is to try a little of something and if it doesn't sit well or comes back up wait a few weeks and try it again. I was cleared to have regular food after 4 weeks except no seeds, nuts or popcorn for 6 months. 1 SueMonte reacted to this
Eat That Frog 53 Posted November 24, 2012 I was told no lettuce or other raw vegetables for 6 months. It sounds like everyone else is having salads earlier than that with no problems.
iggychic 1,405 Posted November 24, 2012 I was told no lettuce or other raw vegetables for 6 months. It sounds like everyone else is having salads earlier than that with no problems. I'm on the same schedule. Which sucks because I love salad LOL I dream about cesear with chicken breast on it while others are dreaming about cookies! Tonight we're eating at a fancy french restaurant in Minneapolis (I think...could be Saint Paul...I'm not from here). I haven't been told when I can eat snails, but FYI...today's the day LOL We'll see how it goes.

iggychic 1,405 Posted November 24, 2012 Snails are almost all Protein - they should be ok. Heh heh, and if I soak the toast points in butter and garlic long enough they'll be sort of Protein right? LOL

chad2rad 491 Posted November 26, 2012 I started out with sweet butter lettuce at 4 weeks. It has a very soft texture and I never had a problem. I have not had romaine yet.
