Luellen 0 Posted October 19, 2006 Hi, I'm a newbie! I've been waiting for this day since last December, had to get insurance approval, do all kinds of tests and now I have made it! I was scheduled yesterday but it had to be postponed till today. Today, its here! YEAH!!! What is it like after surgery?
cocakk 0 Posted October 19, 2006 Good Luck! The first week after surgery was not great for me...I was like a tick about to pop...but I am 70lbs down and would do it again in a heartbeat.
beachgirl 2 Posted October 20, 2006 Luellen, You've had your surgery by now and I hope all is well. I didn't have any trouble at all with my surgery and day 3 was mopping kitchen, vacuming doing laundry and all that good stuff and day 10 went 4 wheeler riding all day long. You'll do great, I think everyone does differently but just walk, sip, sip, sip, and get plenty of rest. Congrats.
kidzrn 0 Posted October 20, 2006 I'm really new. Faxed in my application yesterday to BIDMC. I wonder how long it will be 'til they contact me? It's hard to wait. Barring any unforseen problems, how soon 'til I get banded? ...3 months..6 months ..a year? What have your experiences been at BIDMC? I really enjoy looking at this site. I haven't had this much hope for years. Be well, KidzRN
