kyllfalcon 768 Posted November 23, 2012 That's only four weeks. There have been so many posts asking the same question! You just had major surgery and your caloric intake is severly restricted. You will bounce back, it just takes time. I went back to work after three weeks, but low energy. Every week it improved until about week 6 or so when I felt better again. Now 8 months out I never tire. Truly.
CowgirlJane 14,260 Posted November 23, 2012 Make sure you are taking your Vitamins and getting sufficient liquids and Protein. Mild dehydration will make you exhausted! Otherwise, be patient. I was wiped out, wet noodle tired until about 6 weeks or so out but am filled with energy now! It gets better.
Queen of Crop 1,104 Posted November 23, 2012 All very normal.....nothing is wrong with you. My husband and I laugh now....after any meal (of miniscule amounts) I would sag my shoulders, and look up at him and say "I have to go lay down....". That lasted a couple of months...I am so grateful I didn't have to work. Just take it easy, it will get better and like the posts above, be sure you don't get dehydrated. This is your time to take care of YOU.
