leahandgracey 2 Posted November 22, 2012 I had surgery on Sept 24th. I can faithfully say that I have had complications since day one. I did loose 40 lbs yay me.. But I can only eat once a day. Problem is that I vomit so much acid reflex and all nutrition comes out. Today I had the chills and a bad fever. My medication was changed but can someone guide me as to what's going on? Or how to deal with this issue?
Sissy Kay 39 Posted November 22, 2012 Leahandgracey -- You need to call your doctor about the fever ASAP, just in case it's related to your surgery. Are you on an antacid for the acid reflux? Tell your doctor or a member of his staff that you can only eat once a day -- that's just not right and you're going to get malnourished, or maybe you already are. On a positive note -- congratulations on losing 40 pounds already -- that's great! But you're having too many complications to continue in this way. Call your doctor's office! leahandgracey 2 Posted November 22, 2012 @ Sissy Kay I did see my MD. and she changed my meds. Next is the GI test. To see what's going on. She said high chance of surgery.. Oh and yes I am malnourished already. It's killing me.

This is your life!
leahandgracey 2 Posted November 22, 2012 I don't think it's a leak. The fever is gone I just have a headache. No pain in the stomach. Just body ache.
iggychic 1,405 Posted November 22, 2012 I nearly died of a leak and it's complications. I never once had pain in my stomach. If you develop a fever (low or otherwise) and have general weakness or illness, you need to have a test. It's life and death stuff if you ignore it.
