Jesser 295 Posted November 21, 2012 Can someone still get the surgery if they have a peptic ulcer? I may have one or it may just be really bad acid reflux I have not been tested for it

Jesser 295 Posted November 21, 2012 I'm going to Mexico so I'd hate to get all the way there and them be like "oh, sorry! Can't do the surgery now!" That would be awful. I've been to my PCP several times over this, and he says it will be a few months before the gastrologist can do a endoscopy on it. I've even went to the ER because of it last year. It's a very uncomfortable feeling in my upper abdomen, it's continous day and night, plus I can always hear some kind of gurgling noise in my stomach. ebonisekim 1,713 Posted November 23, 2012 Sounds. Like a hiatal hernia the gurgling sound I have one and when it slides in and out of its opening it makes that noise just a thought
Jesser 295 Posted November 23, 2012 It's still hurting... It's been nonstop for several days now. I have a dr appointment Monday it won't go away!!! Lol the discomfort. I've taken Nexium and 600mg ibuprofen and still it hasn't let up. Does your hernia do this?
