Absolutely! I leave for vacation tomorrow and return on 11/30 ... Which is exactly when I need to begin the pre-op diet!

Pre op is 3 Protein Meal Replacement shakes and one small low in fat meal per day. Day before surgery only liquids, and nothing after midnight day of surgery

Mine is similar. I have 1000 calories per day but not limited to shakes. I guess all drs are different. Have you looked into any brand of shakes yet?
