hm734 228 Posted November 20, 2012 I have it REALLY bad, and never had it before surgery. It is so bad sometimes I wake up literally choking on acid. I am 4 months post op. not trying to scare you, but I want you to know it is a real PITA and not just something that requires medicine. Even with medicine (PPI) it is still there.
