Eating Slow

I am curious to know if you have to eat really, really slow forever after vertical sleeve surgery. Is there anyone out there that knows? I am trying very hard to eat as slow as possible ( at least 30-45 minutes). It's a struggle sometimes, but my sleeve sure lets me know when I eat too fast or one bite too much. Just wondering if it is the same one or two years out.I'm not saying just shovel it down, but maybe less than 30-45 minutes.

Oh yes. I eat completely normal/ fast. I'm 16 months post op. I don't feel like I had surgery and I haven't since 8 months out ( except I eat less of course)
